In the dynamic world of lighting, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies is essential for success. That is why the WE-EF family gathered at the sunny Gold Coast in QLD on May 4th-5th for the highly anticipated WE-EF Sales Conference 2023.
After a long hiatus since 2018, this event served as a valuable opportunity for WE-EF Sales Partners from Australia and New Zealand to come together, learn about new luminaires and clever night sensitive lighting solutions, discuss sustainability, lighting control and connectivity options, and foster meaningful connections within the WE-EF community.
Day 1: Networking Afternoon
The conference kicked off with an afternoon filled with excitement and camaraderie. On Thursday, May 4th, we all had the chance to network and catch up with old and new colleagues at the mini-golf and at the rooftop bar, exchanging insights and forging stronger bonds amidst breathtaking views of the Gold Coast skyline.
Day 2: Illuminating Knowledge
The main event took place on May 5th, where the focus centred on sharing knowledge and exploring the latest innovations from WE-EF. The highlight of the conference was the introduction of the AFL100 Series and GOBO Projectors, two groundbreaking additions to the WE-EF product lineup. The conference also dedicated significant attention to sustainability and connectivity in lighting. As the world becomes increasingly conscious of environmental impact, WE-EF continues to lead the way in developing sustainable lighting solutions. Discussions revolved around the ever-growing importance of connectivity, exploring how smart lighting technologies can enhance the functionality and efficiency of lighting solutions, while minimising the carbon output generated by the use phase of a luminaire.
The notable enthusiasm of all participants sparked the tone for a buzzing event full of great energy, which was amplified by the exceptional speakers who shared their expertise and insights. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jean-Cecil Gailott from WE-EF France, A/Prof. Therésa Jones from the University of Melbourne, Nathan Giblett and Steve Davis from PowerStack and WE-EF Australia/New Zealand expert team for their engaging presentations and valuable contributions.
