Tony Duong, Project Support Manager

Once upon a time, a young enthusiastic Tony started with WE-EF as a casual working in the warehouse and assembly.

A year later, Tony was offered a position in the technical area working on lighting designs (applying his graphic design qualifications). From this time on, Tony continued to develop strong product knowledge and expertise and was recently promoted to the important new role of Project Support Manager. Although he still appears to be a cool young, fit dude with plenty of swagger, Mr Duong can’t be that young as he has now been with the WE-EF family for over 13 years! Wow!

We are lucky to have this solutions-focused, troubleshooting guru representing us in the role of Project Support Manager within the Technical team, where he helps to provide solutions to new projects, tricky applications and nonstandard requests. With customisation central to what we do at WE-EF, it is the tech team, and expertise from the likes of Tony, that enable us to provide bespoke solutions to meet client needs.

Lucky for us and indeed for our Sales Partners and clients, when we asked Tony what he enjoys most about his job he says “I enjoy helping customers find creative solutions which meet their expectations” – and the way in which Tony works demonstrates on the daily, the true passion he has, to find solutions to any challenge!

His favourite working tool is Solid Edge, as it is always exciting to see designs go from concepts to working luminaires.

In his spare time, Tony spends a lot of time in the gym flexing in the mirror – occasionally lifting some weights while he is there 😉!
