WE-EF LIGHTING is thrilled to announce our upcoming move to new, state-of-the-art sustainable facilities! With construction completion expected at the end of 2024, this move represents a significant milestone for us as we continue to evolve.
Located on Tarnard Drive, just a stone’s throw away from our current facilities in Braeside, Victoria, our new home is being developed by Urban Logistics Co. (ULC) with a strong emphasis on sustainability. With plans targeting a 5-star Green Star rating, we’re proud to be part of a project that prioritises environmental responsibility and efficiency.
What can you expect from our new facilities? Here are just a few highlights:

✨ A great auditorium space for education to all our visitors
✨ Plenty of thoughtfully designed spaces for discussions, lunching and games
✨ A sustainable build with inclusions of a 99kW solar panel system to harness clean, renewable energy
✨ Electric vehicle and bicycle charging stations
✨ End-of-trip facilities featuring showers, lockers, and bike racks to support active commuting.
We recently celebrated the commencement of this exciting project with a collective turning of the first sod with key stakeholders including our Head of Region, Jonathan Cleland, Head of Operations, Mark Pipunic, and Fagerhult Group CEO, Bodil Sonesson, alongside representatives from Urban Logistics Co. and Wentworth Capital.
Jonathan, Mark, and the entire team have been hard at work coordinating efforts for this project, which is expected to be completed in 2024. One of the highlights of our new facility will be the centralised Lightbox showroom, designed to welcome and educate our clients in an immersive environment.
Our production team is also gearing up for the move by implementing a lean assembly cell process, anticipating efficiency gains and an elevated brand experience for team members, Sales Partners, and clients alike.
