Meet Mark Pipunic, Head of Operations at WE-EF Australia / New Zealand
Starting with WE-EF in 2019, Mark brings a wealth of operational leadership experience and expertise and a people-focused style to his integral role as Head of Operations.
The most memorable experience Mark has had thus far with WE-EF was “having a dinner with former CEO Stephan Fritzsche and ‘passing his test questions’ as he mentioned after grilling me for a while, then being bestowed with the acting MD role with Andy Spivey shortly after. Stefan was/is a lovely guy.”
His first couple of years at WE-EF was indeed a whirlwind, with management changes and challenges, all of which Mark took in his stride and got on with it. This saw Mark graciously take on an active MD role and lead with composure and compassion when the WE-EF team needed it most.
In terms of what he enjoys most about his role, it is getting positive feedback from our sales partners and winning important projects by supporting our sales partners and providing solutions.
Mark’s favourite working tool is Microsoft Teams: “We implemented it in March 2020 before the start of COVID and it has been a valuable and efficient resource”.
Ultimately, of his feelings about working at WE-EF, Mark describes, “I think the entire team at WE-EF AUST is truly a group of exceptionally special people in many ways that come together and provide something special in terms of a brand, product and service experience and I feel privileged to work as part of the greater team.”
In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and son, shooting sports, fishing, artisan food and beverage making. He even introduced the WE-EF team to his shooting sports passion with a team-building day for “hitting their targets”.
