Our products are manufactured locally.

While the WE-EF brand is synonymous with its German engineering heritage, it is here in the humble industrial pocket of Braeside, Victoria, that WE-EF assembles all its products for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Our premium quality, innovative componentry is sourced from WE-EF Germany and Thailand, but it is our locally employed team of 40+ that passionately works together to manufacture and deliver flexible, customised exterior lighting solutions to meet the needs of our customers for any project.

Local assembly ensures comprehensive compliance with all Australian electrical and safety standards, while also enabling reliable local support on all matters both pre and post sales and installation. The local team backs this support up with a market leading, fully supported 10 year warranty (available exclusively in the WE-EF Australian and New Zealand markets).

WE-EF not only employs a local direct team spanning production, technical, marketing, sales, finance, customer service, materials and logistics and administration, it also outsources to many other local businesses for ancillary services such as powder coating or custom luminaire accessories, thereby continuing to support the local manufacturing industry.

– Selection of optics: An extensive range of optical performance options for our street and area products, with ability to create “hybrid” solutions that accurately distribute light, only where it is needed.
– Configuring unique control solutions: We are passionate about ensuring light is placed only where it is needed, in an environmentally sensitive manner, without any unnecessary spill or glare, to protect our night sky, leveraging various options with connectivity, scheduling and motion detection technology.
