Celebrating 30 years in Australia, 75 globally – and our new home

On Friday afternoon, WE-EF LIGHTING Australia/New Zealand proudly hosted a very special Family Open Day at our new Braeside facility – our first opportunity to show our new home to our loved ones.

It was a celebration of two incredible milestones:

– 75 years of WE-EF globally
– 30 years of WE-EF in Australia and New Zealand

Over 100 family members and friends joined us to explore the newly built site, including an immersive snapshot of the Lightbox showroom and behind-the-scenes insights into our state-of-the-art facility and local assembly operations.

The afternoon was filled with connection, curiosity and celebration. There were BBQ sausages, veggie burgers, games, ice cream for the kids, and a special take-home gift: a mini ‘Lightbox’ containing a 3D-printed turtle hatchling and some goodies for the kids.

Thank you to the incredible team who made this event shine – from the organisers to the BBQ chefs and clean-up crew. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Because at WE-EF the light comes from within.
