Environment Day, Frankston Foreshore

On Tuesday, November 29th, the WE-EF Australia/New Zealand team were giving back to our community via a day of environmental volunteering.

Together with our guests from far away – WE-EF CEO Thiemo Cordes and WE-EF CMO Renaud LE BEC, we braved the wind, cold weather and the sun and cleaned approximately 2 kilometres of the coastline, collecting 30 full bags of rubbish and weeds! We also did a great job removing invasive plant species – gazania and lagurus ovatus from sand dunes; those plants are very serious threat to vegetation formations in Victoria, Australia.
